The Gemstone Armory can be found inside of the forge building, which is where you can embed, remove, dismantle, or upgrade your Combat and Research Gems. To upgrade gems, use gemstone essence, which is made from dismantling other gems or buying from packs, or earning it in events.

Combat gems have 4 Grades to them. Each grade is increasingly more powerful, however, requires more Gemstone Essence to increase its level. The highest grade is Chaos, followed by Soul, Chivalry, and Valor. Chivalry and Valor can be upgrade to level 6. Soul and Chaos can also be upgraded to level 6, but then further increase grade from level 6 Purple, then Orange, and finally Yellow.

Tip: Chaos gemstones are the most powerful but getting their lesser form “Soul gems” is the best way to start the process. The soul gems and fragments can be found in events, spire, or purchased in packs.

Tip: Buying the “Deals of the day” gem packs for gemstones is the best and quickest way to get combat gems and make them more powerful! It occurs on Tuesday starting at reset.

Research gemstones come in two different types, Wisdom and Knowledge. Wisdom gemstones are able to be enhanced, you can buy level 1 wisdom gems and upgrade them to level 3. Knowledge gemstones cannot be enhanced but are more powerful. The level you purchase them at from packs is the level they will remain.
